Customer Review: Not made in the USA
The picture of the pencil showed a pencil made in the USA so I bought a box but when they arrived I saw they were just the cheap Mexico made pencils. The wood on the Mexico or China manufactured pencils shatters easily and frequently when you sharpen it and in general does not have the same feeling as the good old made in the USA Ticonderoga pencils. It broke my heart when I discovered Ticonderogas were no longer made in the USA and it was another blow when I thought I'd found a stock pile of old USA pencils only to have gotten more cheap mexican pencils. Don't waste your time on these pencils, even if they are Ticonderogas. : Ticonderoga Pencils
